According to the National Association of REALTORS (NAR), sixty-six percent of households have pets or plan to get one in the future. Some features important in a home to buyers with pets include:
- A fully fenced yard.
- Large back yard or outdoor space.
- Flooring
- Mud room/animal washing station
- Dog door
- Cat litter closet
