Real estate experts estimate that an inground concrete pool adds 5-8% to the real estate value of your home. The average cost of installing a pool is around $50,000. The bottom line is you will only recoup a portion of the investment. However, if you and your family and friends get years of enjoyment from the pool, the investment may be well worth it.

During the pandemic, homeowners began to look at their living space as a “staycation” oasis. Demand for pool installation saw unprecedented growth. Pool contractors have a long wait list and patience is a virtue in order to realize your dream of a pool.

Some questions to explore before installing a pool include:

·         Know the zoning requirements

·         Determine the type of pool you want

·         Routine maintenance and cost

·         Landscaping

·         Get estimates from licensed contractors
